    At HireEase, we don’t believe in complicated, overly lengthy contracts. We focus on delivering clear, straightforward agreements--that's why all of our contracts are framed as offer letters, not dense and formal documents. Our templates avoid unnecessary “legalese,” making them accessible and easy to understand. Unlike many one-size-fits-all templates, HireEase contracts are crafted by Canadian lawyers and tailored to meet the specific legal requirements of each province, standing out from generic template depots.   • Does HireEase guarantee its contracts are enforceable?
    Because the law is subject to change, no one (including HireEase) can ever guarantee with certainty that a contract will be enforceable. A contract that is enforceable today may be rendered unenforceable tomorrow by a new court decision or because of specific circumstances. That being said, our contracts are carefully crafted by experienced Canadian lawyers and regularly reviewed to align with the latest court decisions and legislative updates as of 2025. We take rigorous steps to keep our templates up-to-date and as enforceable as possible under existing laws, allowing you to focus on managing your business with confidence.
  • Does HireEase offer legal advice?
    HireEase does not provide legal advice or legal services. While our contracts and our HR Essentials Guidebook are crafted by Canadian lawyers, they are not a substitute for legal advice. For specific questions or advice, consult with a licenced lawyer in your province.
  • How do the Basic and Premium Package contracts differ?
    Both the Basic and Premium Solution Packages allow you to complete a fillable Word document based on specific prompts. The Basic Solution Package allows you to select either an employment contract or contractor agreement, while the Premium Solution Package provides you access to both. The Premium Solution package provides additional HR documents, such as a Performance Management and Performance Review form, as well as a complimentary 15-minute phone call with one of our licensed Canadian employment lawyers.   • I purchased the Premium Solution Package. How do I book a phone call?
    After you purchase the Premium Solution Package, you will be directed to a landing page that allows you to book a call with one of our lawyers. You must book a call within seven (7) days of purchasing your package. Booking a phone call is not mandatory, but is available should you have any questions. Please note that HireEase lawyers cannot provide legal advice or draft specific provisions for your contract. That being said, they are able to answer questions about provisions in the template contracts as well as general information regarding implementation.
  • Are the packages a one-time fee? Are there any other hidden fees, subscriptions, or other costs?
    We only charge a one-time fee for our packages (plus applicable taxes), as listed on our Packages page. There is no fee to make an account nor are there any recurring or subscription fees.
  • Is it free to make a HireEase account?
    Yes, this is free! The only fee you will be charged is when you purchase one of our packages in order to access HireEase contracts and HR documents.
  • Are there any restrictions on how many times I can use the template?
    Once purchased, you have unlimited use of the templates. However, as laws change, we recommend updating your contracts with HireEase at least once a year to ensure they remain current.
  • How long do I have access to my contracts and HR documents?
    You will be able to access and download your documents immediately after purchase under the Account menu. Once you download your documents, you can use them for as long as you wish. You will have only seven (7) days from the date of purchase to download your documents. After this time, you will have to purchase another package.
  • Can I customize the templates to fit my specific needs?
    Yes, our templates are designed to be flexible and can be easily customized to meet your unique needs. We provide all of our contracts in Word format. However, please note that making substantive modifications without consulting with a lawyer may impact the enforceability of the contract. You should consult with a lawyer before adding in your own text or making substantive changes to the HireEase templates.
  • Is there a support team available if I have questions?

  • Does HireEase provide refunds?
    As our products can be accessed and used immediately upon purchase, HireEase does not provide refunds. However, if you experience any issues with your purchase, please reach out to our support team at contact@hireease.ca
